Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has issued a public statement addressing the recent unauthorized release of a private video involving her, Readership NG reports.

Taking to her Instagram page, the renowned actress expressed her deep distress regarding the dissemination of the video without her consent, highlighting that it constituted a breach of her privacy and trust.

In her statement, Moyo Lawal clarified that the video in question was recorded during her previous relationship with her ex-partner, with whom she had plans to marry at that time. She underscored that the video was never intended for public consumption, making the leak a blatant violation of her personal boundaries.

Consequently, she has made a firm commitment to pursue legal action against those responsible for the video’s unauthorized distribution.

Her statement reads as follows: “A private video of mine from some time ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, thus infringing upon my privacy and trust. I want to emphasize that this video, which was made with my ex-partner I intended to marry, was never meant for public viewing, and its unauthorized release represents a breach of my personal boundaries.”
