Bashorun Adebayo Awosanya has donated two Sienna vehicles to the Sagamu Local Government chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support the party’s mobilisation and campaign activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The vehicles were handed over yesterday at the Asoludero Compound Hospital, Sagamu, in the presence of party leaders, members of the executive committees and other stakeholders.

The vehicles, already branded with the images and identities of APC candidates, are expected to support campaign and mobilisation activities across Sagamu.
Among those featured on the vehicles are President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Ogun State governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi; the Ogun East Senatorial candidate, Omo’ba Dapo Abiodun; the House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Funmi Efuwape; and the Sagamu State Constituency I and II candidates, Hon. Damilare Bello and Hon. Ayodele Olapeju.
Speaking during the presentation, Awosanya said the donation was aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots mobilisation and supporting its activities ahead of the elections.
He said the gesture was a continuation of his support for the APC, recalling that he had previously donated three Sienna vehicles to the party during the last election.
Receiving the keys on behalf of the Sagamu APC, the local government party chairman, Hon. Rotimi Omotayo, popularly known as Omujo, thanked Awosanya for his continued support and contributions to the party.

Omotayo described the donation as a demonstration of Awosanya’s commitment to the growth and electoral success of the APC.
Also speaking, the Ogun East APC Senatorial Chairman, Otunba Dr. ’Keke Adedoyin, commended Awosanya for what he described as his consistent contributions to the party.
Adedoyin noted that Awosanya had continued to commit his resources to the party despite not seeking an elective position or pursuing personal political interests.
He appealed to Awosanya to sustain his support for the party, jokingly describing himself as an “Oliver Twist” who would always ask for more.
Another party leader, Hon. Muri Obafemi Awolaja, also praised Awosanya for his contributions and prayed for his continued good health, longevity and strength.

In a further boost to grassroots activities, Awosanya donated a sound system to APC Ward 2, his ward, to improve communication and coordination during meetings and other party activities.
He also pledged N500,000 for every Ward 2 meeting as an empowerment package for members.
Awosanya said the initiative was intended to strengthen grassroots participation and provide support for members of the ward.
The event ended with prayers for Awosanya, the APC leadership and members of the party, as stakeholders expressed optimism about the party’s prospects in the 2027 elections.
