SYAN To Induct Ayanremi Emmanuel As Africa’s Youngest Grand Patron

The Southern Youth Assembly of Nigeria (SYAN) will on Wednesday, 29th April, induct Ambassador Ayanremi Emmanuel, CEO of Adebola Sewing Machines, as the youngest Grand Patron in Africa.

The ceremony is scheduled to hold at the business mogul’s office in Lagos, following what the youth body described as his “tremendous and unrivalled support” for youth developmental projects across the country.

Speaking with newsmen on Tuesday in Lagos, the National Publicity Secretary of SYAN, Omodele Oluwapo, said the decision to confer the rare title on Ambassador Emmanuel was unanimous.

He noted that the young chief executive had, over the years, demonstrated an uncommon commitment to empowering young Nigerians through skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, and direct intervention in youth-focused initiatives.

“Ambassador Ayanremi Emmanuel is not just a businessman; he is a pillar of hope for the Southern youth,” Oluwapo said.

“His contributions to youth development, particularly through the platform of Adebola Sewing Machines, have touched thousands of lives. At his age, no one else in Africa has done what he has done for young people.”

According to Oluwapo, the induction ceremony will be a low-key but significant event, with executive members of the assembly and selected youth leaders expected to be present. He added that the title of Grand Patron is the highest honour within the Southern Youth Assembly of Nigeria, reserved for individuals whose personal sacrifices and resources have consistently advanced the cause of youth development.

The assembly has described Wednesday’s ceremony as historic, noting that it sets a new record for youth recognition on the African continent.
