Sagamu LG Chairman Felicitates Residents, Reaffirms Commitment To People-Centred Governance
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has extended New Year greetings to residents of the council area, assuring them of his administration’s continued commitment to people-centred governance and improved service delivery in 2026.
In his New Year message, Odulate reflected on the challenges of the past year, noting that despite the difficulties, the people of Sagamu demonstrated resilience, unity and collective resolve. He expressed gratitude to residents for the trust, support and cooperation given to his administration.
The chairman said his government would remain focused on policies and programmes that directly address the needs of communities across the local government, stressing that inclusive governance and effective service delivery would remain top priorities.
According to him, the administration is determined to work with residents to build a Sagamu that is peaceful, progressive and filled with opportunities for all.
Odulate also prayed for good health, peace of mind and renewed hope for households in the local government, expressing optimism that the new year would bring growth, stability and shared prosperity to the area.
He wished the people a happy and fulfilling New Year, urging them to continue supporting government efforts aimed at sustainable development in Sagamu Local Government.
