Enilolobo Rallies Nigerians For Tinubu’s Re-election As PCC Takes Off In Ibadan
A member of the Presidential Coalition Council (PCC), Hon. Abdullah Enilolobo, on Saturday urged Nigerians to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, describing continuity as essential to consolidating the sweeping economic reforms of the current administration.
Enilolobo made the call in Ibadan, Oyo State, during the official launch of the Presidential Coalition Council and a sensitisation programme on the policies of the Tinubu administration.
He said the decision to commence the PCC’s activities from Ibadan was strategic, noting that the city controls nearly half of Oyo State’s total voting strength and remains critical to the electoral fortunes of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to Enilolobo, Nigeria was on the brink of economic collapse before President Tinubu assumed office in 2023, as the country relied heavily on borrowing to pay salaries and sustain basic governance.
He explained that policy decisions such as the removal of fuel subsidy, the floating of the naira and the introduction of a new tax regime had helped stabilise the economy, improve government revenues and significantly increase allocations to states and local governments.
Enilolobo added that the improved fiscal position of government has made it possible to raise the national minimum wage, stressing that the gains recorded under the Tinubu administration must be protected through sustained leadership.

He called on APC members and supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation, safeguard their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) and work collectively to secure victory for the party in both the presidential and Oyo State governorship elections in 2027.
The PCC launch and sensitisation exercise was organised and sponsored by Hon. Ayotunde Bakare, who was commended for using personal resources to support the council’s activities and promote public understanding of government policies.
Also present at the event was the National Coordinator of the PCC, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, represented by Hon. Abiodun Mafe, who urged party members to remain united and continue projecting the achievements of the Tinubu administration.

The event attracted APC leaders and stakeholders from across Oyo State, including Alhaji Mufutau Adisa Gbayawu, Alhaji Abu Gbadamosi, Hon. Alli, Mrs. Abegbo Lawal, Madam Isijola, and serving members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Shittu Ibrahim and Hon. Musbau Azeez.
