Sagamu LG Flags Off Construction Of 2.4km Ajegunle–Araromi Road
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has officially flagged off the construction of the 2.4-kilometre Ajegunle–Araromi Road, describing the project as a major step towards enhancing infrastructure and economic growth in the area.
Speaking during the ceremony, Odulate said the project represents more than a road construction effort, but a symbol of progress, partnership, and collective aspiration for a better Sagamu. He acknowledged the presence of foreign investors who attended the event, commending their confidence in the local government and Ogun State at large.
Odulate expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, for creating an enabling environment that continues to attract global investment. He noted that Sagamu remains a proud contributor to the state’s development strides under the governor’s leadership.
He also commended the host community for its support, cooperation, and peaceful disposition, adding that development only thrives in an atmosphere of harmony. According to him, the project is designed to boost commerce, improve mobility, create jobs, and enhance the overall quality of life of residents.
The chairman further appealed to residents to remain security-conscious and promptly report any suspicious activity to security agencies, stressing that safety is a collective responsibility.
Odulate reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to delivering people-oriented projects, assuring that Sagamu Local Government will continue to pursue initiatives that promote development and attract investment.
He concluded by praying for continued peace and progress in Sagamu, Ogun State, and Nigeria.
