Ogbeni Odulate Commends Gov Abiodun On Ogun’s Historic First Flight
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has congratulated the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on the successful take-off of the maiden flight from the Gateway International Airport, Iperu, describing the event as a bold testament to the Governor’s visionary leadership.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Odulate said the historic flight signifies that Governor Abiodun’s developmental agenda under the Building Our Future Together vision is now taking shape before the eyes of Ogun residents.
The council boss, who witnessed the take-off of the inaugural aircraft, expressed immense pride as a son of Remo, noting that the project represents a new dawn for the state’s infrastructure and economic growth.
“Watching the aircraft take off filled me with pride as a proud son of Remo. This achievement reflects the visionary leadership and relentless commitment of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, whose determination to transform our state continues to yield visible results,” Odulate said.
He commended the Governor for what he described as clarity of purpose and consistency in pursuing infrastructural excellence, adding that the impact of the airport would extend far beyond aviation.
“The Gateway International Airport will not only boost air travel but will also create jobs, open new markets, attract investors, and strengthen Ogun State’s position in Nigeria’s aviation and business landscape,” he added.
Odulate further noted that the landmark project underscores the Abiodun administration’s dedication to economic expansion and innovation-driven development, reaffirming Ogun State’s place as a model of progress.
