Sagamu LG Boss, Ogbeni Odulate, Felicitates Nigerians On 65th Independence
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has congratulated Nigerians at home and in the diaspora on the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
In his goodwill message, Odulate described the milestone as “a story of our heroes who never gave up on their dream of nationhood.” He noted that their sacrifices laid the foundation for the peace and freedom the country enjoys today, while also renewing hope for a greater Nigeria.
“As we mark this year’s Independence Anniversary, I call on every son and daughter of Sagamu, Ogun State, and Nigeria at large to embrace the spirit of togetherness. Our diversity is not a weakness but our greatest strength,” he said.
The council boss urged Nigerians to draw inspiration from the celebration by committing themselves to the growth of their communities. He emphasized the need for unity, sincerity of purpose, and the instilling of values such as hard work, integrity, and patriotism in the younger generation.
“On behalf of the Government of Sagamu Local Government, I congratulate all Nigerians. May the labour of our past heroes never be in vain, and may Nigeria continue to flourish in peace, prosperity, and unity,” Odulate stated.
He then wished the nation a happy 65th Independence Anniversary.
