BREAKING: Amebo Newspaper Editor Quits AMORAN Over Leadership, Unpaid Wages
The Managing Editor of Amebo Newspaper NG, Mr. Solanke Ayomideji Taiwo, has formally resigned from his position as a member of the media team at the Almagamated Motorcycle and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN).
In his resignation letter addressed to the Chairman of AMORAN, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, and dated recently, Mr. Taiwo cited unresolved issues with communication, leadership style, and non-payment of entitlements as reasons for his decision.
According to him, several attempts to engage the leadership on these concerns proved unsuccessful, leaving him disillusioned about the association’s management approach.
“My experience in this organization has been overshadowed by ongoing frustrations, particularly regarding communication and leadership. My attempts to address my concerns directly with the Chairman have unfortunately been unsuccessful,” he wrote.
Mr. Taiwo further noted what he described as a “disparity between the public persona of the Chairman and the real dynamics regarding human relations within the organization,” adding that the situation contradicts the values of integrity and respect he upholds.
He also revealed that he has not received any remuneration for his work since June, a development he considered unacceptable.
Effective immediately, Mr. Taiwo stated that he would cease to engage in any media publications related to AMORAN and would consider any such content irrelevant on the Amebo Newspaper platform.

Despite his resignation, he expressed gratitude for the experiences gained during his time with the association and wished his former colleagues success in their future endeavors.
